Dear stranger on the internet,
If you're reading this there's a good chance you want to get people to buy your stuff online.
But how'd you actually do that?
The answer is more simple than you probably think.
Drumroll please...
Ready?
Really?!
Is that it?!
Yes! You talk to them.
Communication is how we exchange ideas.
It's how we interpret and deliver value.
It’s the words we use though that make all the difference.
Nowadays there are more people than ever just a click away.
The problem is most businesses don't know how to talk to them.
The average person is bombarded with up to 3000 marketing messages a day.
That's a crazy number by anyone's standards.
And before you think I made it up, it's 100% true...
You can google it if you don’t believe me.
Something that jolts people from their commercially induced comas.
In other words, you have to grab their attention.
You know when you're at some place really crowded and there are so many people talking at once you can hardly hear yourself think?...
But then someone from the other side of the room calls your name and you immediately look around to see where it came from...
That's what you need to do to your customers.
They need to feel like you called their name.
They need to feel like you're speaking directly to them.
They need to feel like you're reading their thoughts.
That's how you cut through the crap.
That's how you get them to listen.
At the beginning of this letter, you didn’t know me…
But just a short 32 sentences later I’m a little less of a stranger.
We’ve had a conversation…
If you want to discover how to start speaking to your customers in the same way just click one of the big, hard-to-miss, red buttons on this page…
I’ve written some more letters I think you’ll find helpful.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.
And if you ever have any questions just drop me an email here.
I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Until we speak again,
Jan-Michael “a little less of a stranger on the internet” Britten
P.S. If you skipped reading the letter, here’s the recap:
